Alaska Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead (AK-CESCL)

Alaska Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead (AK-CESCL) is a two-day training and certification program that ensures compliance with the Alaska DEC Construction General Permit (CGP) for stormwater discharges from construction sites disturbing one acre or more. The course covers erosion and sedimentation processes, regulations, SWPPPs, BMPs, inspections, record-keeping, and cold climate considerations. Certification requires full course attendance and passing a written exam and is valid for three years. The course can be taken for 16 professional development hours for the renewal of a professional license.
