American Heart Association First Aid, CPR, and AED

This course provides training on responding to first aid and cardiac emergencies in the workplace. It covers first aid procedures, CPR for all age groups, AED use, and skills practice supported by instructor feedback and group interaction. This course is intended for employees and designated workplace responders who are required to provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers

This course provides training on performing CPR for all age groups, using an AED, and managing choking emergencies. It covers emergency response skills through video-based instruction, instructor-led discussion, hands-on skill stations, and simulation exercises. This course is intended for healthcare workers and other personnel required to respond to medical emergencies.
Confined Space Entry

This course provides training on entering confined spaces under the State of Alaska (8 AAC 61.01001.1401), OSHA (29 CFR 1910.146/1926.1200–1213), and ANSI Z117.1 requirements. It covers confined space hazards, entry permits, atmospheric monitoring, personal protective equipment, safe entry procedures, and hazard control methods through lectures and hands-on activities. This course is intended for personnel who enter confined spaces in general industry or construction.
Confined Space Industrial Rescue

This course provides training on performing confined space rescue in non-atmospheric hazard conditions. It covers rescue principles, vertical and horizontal extrication techniques, and the use of tripods, davits, and pre-engineered systems through hands-on rescue exercises. This course is intended for personnel designated as onsite confined space rescue responders.

Hand Safety Awareness

This course provides training on hand injury hazards. It covers OSHA hand protection requirements (29 CFR 1910.138, 1926.28), hazard recognition, glove selection, and proper use of personal protective equipment to prevent lacerations, punctures, burns, chemical exposures, and thermal hazards. This course is intended for workers whose job tasks expose their hands to injury risks.
Hearing Protection Awareness
This course provides training on high-noise environments. It covers noise-health effects, permissible exposure limits, hearing protection selection, proper fit, and OSHA regulatory requirements (1910.95, 1926.101). This course is intended for workers exposed to hazardous noise levels.
Metal Working Hazard Awareness

This course provides training on metalworking environments. It covers arc radiation hazards, respiratory and noise hazards, heat stress, ergonomics, engineering controls, and relevant OSHA standards (1910.1200, 1926.59). This course is intended for workers who perform or support metalworking operations.
Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP)

This course provides training on operating or working around mobile elevated work platforms. It covers MEWP classifications, inspection procedures, site evaluations, fall prevention requirements, operational safety, and hazard recognition. This course is intended for personnel who operate, supervise, or assist with MEWP operations.
Mold Remediation Awareness
This course provides training on mold hazards in workplace or facility environments. It covers mold identification, health effects, personal protective equipment, toxicology, decontamination, removal techniques, prevention strategies, and EPA recommendations through lecture and hands-on activities. This course is intended for custodial, maintenance, and office personnel responsible for or exposed to mold-related tasks.
NAVFAC Contractor Safety Awareness
40 Hours: $1200
This course provides training on working under NAVFAC and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) contract requirements. It covers EM 385-1-1 and OSHA 29 CFR 1926 regulations, contract submittals, hazard identification and control, safety management systems, and compliance responsibilities. This course is intended for contractors, military personnel, and government employees performing work on NAVFAC, USACE, or other government agency projects.
Overhead Cranes and Basic Rigging
This course provides training on operating or assisting with overhead cranes and rigging systems. It covers OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, equipment inspection, signaling, pendant control use, two-sling rigging, and safe operating practices, reinforced with hands-on evaluation. Respiratory Awareness
This course provides training on using or potentially being exposed to respiratory protection requirements. It covers respiratory hazards, respirator types, fit-testing principles, program elements, personal protective equipment storage and care, and OSHA regulatory requirements (29 CFR 1910.134), supported by hands-on activities. This course is intended for personnel who wear or support the use of respirators in the workplace.

This course provides training on administering a workplace respiratory protection program. It covers exposure assessment, respirator selection, medical evaluation, fit testing, training requirements, inspection, cleaning, storage, recordkeeping, and OSHA compliance. This course is intended for designated administrators of respiratory protection programs.
Scaffold Safety Awareness
This course provides training on introducing scaffold systems. It covers frame, tube-and-clamp, and system scaffolding, as well as OSHA and State of Alaska regulatory requirements and safe work practices. This course is intended for personnel working on or around scaffolding.

This course provides training on respirable crystalline silica. It covers silica hazards, exposure control plans, best practices, and OSHA and State of Alaska regulatory requirements and hazard mitigation strategies.
