Wildfire Building Protection Awareness

This 1-hour course covers a basic overview of  the State of Alaska’s wildfire building protection recommendations. It covers the basics of wildfires in Alaska for home owners, business owners, and workers. The seminar covers basic information through lectures, films, and hands-on workshops. Students also learn how to use personal protective equipment, vegetation removal techniques, fire-wise construction methods, and fire prevention. This class is offered in person or via Zoom through lecture and media.
