Fall Protection Awareness
4 Hours: $99
This course provides training introducing fall hazards and basic fall protection principles. It covers hazard recognition, equipment types, inspection, donning and doffing, anchor points, rescue systems, suspension trauma, and horizontal lifeline basics. This course is intended for workers who must understand when and how fall protection is required.
Fall Protection Authorized User
8 Hours: $165
This course provides training on using fall arrest systems and provides a deeper understanding of fall protection. It covers fall clearance calculations, arresting force concepts, OSHA and ANSI regulations, equipment usage, fall protection plan development, and emergency response procedures. This course is intended for workers who perform elevated tasks requiring full fall arrest systems.
Fall Protection Competent Person Initial
16 Hours: $475
This course provides training on serving as a Competent Person in a managed fall protection program. It covers Awareness and User-level requirements, nine hands-on practical stations (including rescue systems, harness hang, rescue ladder, splat indicator, equipment inspection, rope grabs, ladder climb, lifeline deployment, and rescue pole), and OSHA, ANSI, and State of Alaska regulations, plus inspection requirements, equipment storage, and documentation practices. This course is intended for supervisors, tool crib operators, inventory managers, safety personnel, and workers involved in fall protection programs.
Fall Protection Competent Person Refresher
8 Hours: $250
This refresher course provides training for previously certified Competent Persons. It reviews regulatory updates, equipment standards, best practices, and core Competent Person responsibilities. It includes hands-on workshops to reinforce applied skills. This course is intended for individuals whose Competent Person certification for fall protection is expiring.
Fall Protection Industrial Rescue
8 Hours: $250
This course provides training on assisting with fall-related worker rescue. It covers the fundamentals of industrial rescue, suspension hazards, emergency procedures, equipment use, and hands-on rescue workshops. This course is intended for workers who assist in fall arrest rescue operations under the direction of a competent rescue leader.
Fall Protection Equipment Inspector
4 Hours: $250
This course provides training on inspecting and maintaining fall protection equipment. It covers ANSI, CSA, and OSHA standards, manufacturer inspection criteria, equipment care, storage principles, and documentation requirements, supported by hands-on inspection workshops. This course is intended for tool crib operators, inventory managers, safety personnel, and workers responsible for inspecting fall protection equipment.
Fall Protection Dropped Objects
4 Hours: $99
This course provides training on preventing injuries, equipment damage, and tool loss caused by dropped objects. It covers hazard identification, drop-prevention methods, and application of the ABCs of Fall Protection for Work Tools. This course is intended for personnel working at heights where tools or equipment may fall.
Fall Protection Competent Person EM 385
24 Hours: $999
This course provides training on developing and implementing a worksite fall protection program under EM 385-1-1 (aligned with ANSI Z359). It covers the duties and responsibilities of a Competent Person, program requirements, regulatory compliance, hazard identification, and hands-on application through workshops and practical activities. This course is intended for workers, managers, or supervisors on government or military projects, specifically on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers–supervised sites where EM 385 fall protection competency is required.
