Asbestos Abatement for Contractors/Supervisors Initial

40 Hours: $670

This course provides training required by the State of Alaska Department of Labor (DOL) (8 AAC 61.600–790), Federal OSHA (29 CFR 1910/1915/1926), and EPA (40 CFR 763 Subpart E) requirements. It covers the fundamentals of asbestos abatement through lectures, videos, and hands-on workshops. This course is intended for certified asbestos abatement contractors and supervisors and is recommended for health and safety professionals, maintenance and custodial personnel, school administrators, engineers, and project managers engaged in Class I or Class II asbestos work.

Asbestos Abatement for Contractors/Supervisors Refresher

8 Hours: $230

This annual refresher course provides training required for the State of Alaska Asbestos Certificate. It reviews content from the initial 40-hour program, including updated rules, regulations, field challenges, abatement techniques, and current safety and health issues. This course is intended for individuals who hold a current State of Alaska Asbestos Abatement Contractor/Supervisor certificate.

EPA/AHERA Asbestos Building Inspector Initial

24 Hours: $475

EPA/AHERA Asbestos Building Inspector Refresher

4 Hours: $230

This annual refresher course provides training required for EPA/AHERA Asbestos Building Inspectors. It reviews the regulatory requirements and responsibilities associated with asbestos inspections. This course is intended for individuals currently certified as EPA/AHERA Asbestos Building Inspectors.

EPA/AHERA Asbestos Management Planner Initial

16 Hours: $350

This course provides training on asbestos management planning. This course is intended for AHERA Management Planners and is recommended for project designers, school administrators, maintenance personnel, asbestos coordinators, engineers, project managers, and project monitors. It is open only to individuals who are already certified as EPA/AHERA Inspectors.

EPA/AHERA Asbestos Management Planner Refresher

4 Hours: $230

This annual refresher course provides training required for EPA/AHERA Asbestos Management Planners. It reviews regulatory responsibilities and asbestos management planning practices. This course is intended for individuals currently certified as EPA/AHERA Asbestos Management Planners.

EPA/AHERA Asbestos Project Designer Initial

24 Hours: $590

This course provides training on the technical principles of asbestos abatement project design. It covers the development of written specifications, including a building walk-through, survey, and design workshop. This course is intended for project designers and is recommended for school administrators, maintenance personnel, asbestos coordinators, engineers, project managers, and project monitors.

EPA/AHERA Asbestos Project Designer Refresher

8 Hours: $245

This annual refresher course provides training required for EPA/AHERA Asbestos Project Designers. It reviews material from the initial course while updating participants on new or revised regulatory requirements and industry practices. This course is intended for individuals currently certified as EPA/AHERA Asbestos Project Designers.

Asbestos Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Initial

16 Hours: $350

This course provides training on asbestos Operations and Maintenance (O&M) required by OSHA (29 CFR 1926.1101) and EPA (40 CFR 763.92). It covers the fundamentals of asbestos through lectures, videos, and slides. This course is intended for maintenance personnel performing Class III asbestos work and may be delivered onsite due to its facility-specific nature.

Asbestos Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Refresher

8 Hours: $200

This annual refresher course provides training on asbestos Operations and Maintenance (O&M) required by OSHA (29 CFR 1926.1101) and EPA (40 CFR 763.92). It reviews initial course content, regulatory requirements updates, best practices, and new tools of the trade. This course is intended for maintenance personnel previously trained in O&M asbestos procedures.

Asbestos Awareness

4 Hours: $65

This course provides training on basic asbestos awareness required by OSHA (29 CFR 1926.1101) and EPA (40 CFR 763.92) and is delivered through lectures, videos, and slides. This course is intended for maintenance and custodial personnel performing Class IV activities and may be offered on site due to its facility-specific nature.
