This course ensures each student has a thorough understanding of the potential hazards to health and safety associated with site cleanup and emergency response. The seminar covers basic information through lectures, films, and hands-on workshops. Students also learn how to use personal protective equipment and air monitoring instruments, toxicology, medical surveillance, decontamination, emergency response planning, confined space entry and spill containment.\n
